Gun Girls and Their Favorite Plates
OutdoorHub 12.04.13
It’s all about plates in this episode of Gun Girl Radio and we’re not talking steel targets, but rather favorite food dishes! Tune in as hosts Randi Rogers and Julie Golob take a break from guns and shooting and share what they love to eat both on and off the range.
As world champion competition shooters, both Julie and Randi have traveled all over the world. It’s an impressive stat that all together they have shot matches on six different continents! With all that international travel the ladies have definitely experienced a variety of different cuisines.
After catching up from spending time with friends and family during Thanksgiving and discussing plans for the end of the year this show is all about the food that fuels Randi and Julie in competition and at home. The hosts start off with their top choice beverages and then dive right into appetizers, entrées and of course, their favorite deserts. They share snacks that both store well and taste great on the range. Learn the bites that ladies will take a pass on as well as the craziest foods they have ever eaten.
The hosts close out the episode reading listener feedback. They answer questions about a firearm torture test Randi participated in and what is the proper power factor cushion for competition ammunition in order to make sure you don’t come too close to going minor or getting disqualified in a match.
