Video: A Gun, a Smoker, and a Steam Engine

Summer—and grilling season—may be long over, but if things go accordingly, many of you will soon be stuffing your freezers full of venison. What better way to cook dinner up than in a steam train engine smoker? It even has an engineer’s cabin to keep you warm!

According to the open-carrying man who built this contraption, the massive BBQ smoker took about three years to construct.

“Pretty much everything was built from scratch,” wrote DrewCIL on Reddit, who claimed to be the son of the man in the video. “The fire box is from an old farm house wood stove and the wheel rims are from cut up fence posts. He built the water tank and whistles himself from scratch. I’m not sure where he got the bell.”

We’re all getting a little hungry just watching the video.
