Video: Watch the First Triple Backflip Ever Performed on a Motocross Bike

Josh Sheehan of Nitro Circus may be considered by many to be a daredevil, but this stunt may have some questioning his sanity altogether. According to his team, this triple backflip—believed to be the first undertaken on a motocross bike—took over a year of preparation and was finally pulled off on April 28 at Pastranaland in Maryland.

Sheehan, a 29-year-old rider from Australia, launched off the ramp at 60 mph and reached 80 feet in the air at his peak. The three backflips were made flawlessly and Sheehan came back to earth amid cheers.
