Video: Exploding Target Sends a Rock Flying at Shooter’s Face

Using exploding targets can be a lot of fun—and very useful for long-range shooting—but it requires a lot of precautions as well. When used improperly, reactive targets can start fires, damage property, and be a source of grievous bodily harm.

It never hurts to treat something so powerful with the respect it deserves. In the video below, a shooter nails an explosive target only to have it fling a rock back toward his face. The man manages to dodge it in time, but it should serve as a lesson that when working with explosives, you should always prepare for the unexpected.
