What does it take to cook the perfect steak? You need a choice cut of meat, seasonings, the perfect temperature, and a number of other things.
One way to get that “just right” temperature is by using slowly poured lava, of course. It might be one of the most innovative and dangerous ways of cooking, so don’t expect to see it in your local steakhouse anytime soon. The video below, produced by Jenny Wysocki of the Syracuse University Lava Project, shows it in action.
You might need a special “apron,” too.
After cooking the steak, the chefs thrown on a few more meat items. There’s no taste test on film, but they certainly look good.
What do you think? Would you try a “lava steak?”
