Considering how this contraption puts the man in unmanned aerial vehicle, it might be more accurate to call it a hover bike instead. This electric tricopter, named the “Flike” by its designers, was built by flight enthusiasts in Bay Zoltan Nonprofit Ltd., a research network in Hungary.
According to Flike’s website, the vehicle itself is a coaxial tricopter propelled by six rotors that keep it off the ground like a very small helicopter. The prototype currently runs on lithium polymer batteries, which only allows up to 20 minutes of flight time, but its designers have ambitious plans. Check out their concept video below.
