Tom Ainsworth of Manitoba’s Grandview Outfitters had a beaver problem.
In addition to his outfitting services, Ainsworth raises cattle. A local beaver dam had flooded some 40 acres of his pastureland, so he decided to take care of it using an interesting method: explosives.

Per Bernie, “the blast threw debris 200 feet in the air and created a perfect channel to drain the 40 acres that were underwater.” The remaining beavers (and beaver remains) aren’t going to waste. They’ll be used as bait for Ainsworth’s bear hunts.
