Video: Huge Bobcat Uses Boy as a Scratching Post

That’s way closer to a bobcat than we’re comfortable being. Fortunately in this case, the bobcat is not wild, did not break into this boy’s kitchen, and is not viciously mauling him like a starving black bear that just discovered donuts.
This is Benji, a large bobcat that was rescued at birth and can never be released back into the wild due to a health defect. He had the good luck to be taken in by an experienced handler, and while bobcats can never really be tamed, Benji eventually adapted to domestic life. It should be noted that even though this bobcat was treated like a pet, it is still a very dangerous animal—and is much more powerful than it looks.
We really hope its claws got a trim before it went to town on this poor boy.
