Video: MythBusters Release 360-degree Shark Virtual Reality Experience

The Discovery Channel just launched their new service Discovery VR, an all-virtual-reality network of videos. This amazing shark video is just one of the new clips launched through the platform.

The video below is designed to be viewed through a virtual reality headset like Oculus Rift or Google Cardboard. The idea is that you can pan your head around and experience the entire virtual world around you. If you don’t have a VR headset, you can still pan around with your mouse.

Discovery plans to release new VR content every week for the next year. Some of that content will be based on shows like Survivorman, Gold Rush, and MythBusters, while others will be standalone projects.
