Video: Italian Anglers Caught in Huge Hailstorm

Rough weather is one of the biggest dangers for anglers out at sea, and can mean the difference between a pleasant fishing trip and a really, really bad one. In the video below, the anglers were reportedly fishing in the Gulf of Naples when they found themselves overtaken by a massive hailstorm.
“Hail as big as eggs,” read the video’s title. From what we’ve seen, they were quite a bit bigger than eggs, especially counting the fist-sized ball of ice that landed directly in their boat.
To their credit, the anglers seemed to be in good cheer despite the icy barrage. Hopefully they had something to take cover under—getting hit with one of these hail balls could ruin anybody’s day.
