Video: How to Fillet a Flatfish in One Minute

This woman has some serious filleting skills. One of the best ways to tell whether someone is good at something is if they make it look easy, and this woman makes filleting look as easy as finding snow in Alaska. A methodical cut here, a long slice there, it almost seems as if she had finished before she even started.

To be fair, many anglers consider halibut to be an easier fish to fillet—while not as easy to get all the meat out of—and the fish shown here is on the smaller side. We’d really like to see her tackle a bigger halibut next time.
