Boat Camera Catches Great White Shark Attacking Seal in SF Bay

A camera mounted on the stern of a boat moored at Alcatraz Island in the San Francisco Bay captured an amazing sight a few days ago—a great white shark attacking a seal just tens of feet from tourists.

The action lasts for less than five seconds, but it’s still breathtaking. The shark breaches the water and can clearly be seen holding a seal between its jaws. The water near the shark turns red as the attack continues underwater.
