Video: A Good Day Fishing Turns into a Disaster in Less Than 30 Seconds

There’s nothing like a relaxing day spent fishing on your favorite body of water—that is, until you suddenly find yourself in the water with some serious choices to make.

The angler in this video had just hooked a nice-sized pike when disaster struck. In an effort to net his catch, the angler leaned too far over the edge of the boat, causing water to flood in. At this point you can almost see the the angler’s mental struggle to either keep his catch or save himself and swim to shore.

Ultimately the fish got away and so did the boat, but thanks to the GoPro footage people will believe his wild fishing story.
