The Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot is probably the largest celebration of fully-automatic firearms anywhere on earth. It attracts over 20,000 visitors each year, and this time around of them filmed the event with a drone.

The staff filmed this incredible footage of over 50,000 thousands rounds being fired in less than 15 minutes.

All of those rounds make for some serious pyrotechnics, which you can watch from the air in the video below.

    When I was an Armor officer, we used to fill ammo cans with MOGAS put them inside the old APCs on the range for hard targets before night shoots. When you would hit them with a .50 or a tank round, the explosion was most gratifying.
