Aggressive Squirrel Attacks at Least 8 People in Separate Attacks

Please don’t feed the wildlife in Novato, California.

Authorities in Novato have received at least eight reports of attacks by a squirrel.  According to officials from Marin County, the squirrel as been scratching and biting people with in a small area around the intersection of Sutro Avenue and Vineyard Road.

It’s believed that the squirrel has been “human raised,” and it no longer fears humans. Officials in the areas have advised residents to remove food sources like bird feeders from their yards.
