Video: California Paddleboarder Nearly Swallowed by Whale

A humpback whale almost got a mouthful of paddleboarder off the coast of California.
A paddleboarder was cruising off near the beach in Santa Cruz, California when a whale breached right next to him. The man was obviously startled, but he somehow managed to stay on his board.
If the whale had been just a foot or two closer this would have been a very different video. Even though humpback whales exclusively eat krill, they still weigh thousands of pounds and they could potentially injure a human.
