Why You Shouldn’t Catch an Electric Eel Barehanded

Everyone knows that electric eels can deliver a powerful electric shock to predators and prey. Well, maybe not everyone.

We are not exactly sure what sort of decision-making process led up to this man getting electrocuted by an eel. We can only hope that he thought he was chasing after a normal eel and not one that can deliver 1,000 volts of electricity. In the end the man received a nasty shock from the eel he was chasing.

Hopefully this gentleman learned his lesson.
