YouTuber Royal Nonesuch‘s quest to build a homemade .50 BMG rifle is finally coming to an end.

After an unsuccessful first attempt Royal Nonesuch reached out to firearms manufacturer Mark Serbu to help him with his .50 project. The gun in the videos below is a result of their collaborative efforts. The gun looks very well-made, which is not surprising given that mark Serbu has some experience building big guns. That being said it looks like all of the components could be easily made with a tools that would be at home in an amateur machinist’s garage.

We can’t wait to see how this rifle performed when the full video is released.
