This is what passion looks like—or obsession, some might call it. Professional bass fisherman Mike Iaconelli gives us a rare peek into his tackle collection, including a massive treasure trove of old lures. It’s like having your personal bait shop in the garage, and for an angler like Iaconelli, it’s practically a necessity. One of the biggest names in bass fishing today, Iaconelli is the only angler to have won the Bassmaster Classic, Bassmaster Angler of the Year, and the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship. Iaconelli currently hosts IKE Live! and heads the Ike Foundation, an organization he founded to introduce kids of all ages to fishing.

Judging from the amount of tackle he has in his garage, Ike can probably take a few elementary schools fishing and have lures left over.

  1. I hope Mr. Iaconelli has a good security system, because in this day and age, giving an inside look at the castle could lead to a George Digweed type visit from some of the darker elements of our society. I’d hate to see that happen to a nice guy like him.
