Video: Finnish Farmers Attach Chainsaw to Drone

Yes, we know what day it is, but if this is an April Fools’ joke, we’re falling for it hook, line, and sinker. According to this YouTube video, a couple of farmers in Finland decided to have some fun by equipping their drone with a working chainsaw. Now, if there’s anything that sounds both incredibly awesome and incredibly dangerous at the same time, it would be this.

Astute viewers have pointed out that chainsaws actually require a fair amount of pressure to cut through dense material, which this drone likely doesn’t provide. So while it may be useful for popping balloons and massacring snowmen, we don’t expect a practical use for this particular chainsaw drone anytime soon.
