Photos: Homemade Weapons Confiscated from European Poachers

Poachers can certainly be creative in their illegal pursuits.

This photo gallery contains a number of weapons confiscated by various law enforcement agencies in Italy and Switzerland. Interestingly, many of these images also include single-shot rifles with homemade suppressors. One of the more interesting examples seems to be a walking stick converted into a rifle with a suppressor attached to the end. That example just shows the lengths poachers will go to in order to conceal their illegal activities.

Hunters are the first line of defense against poaching, so if you suspect illegal activity please report it to you local wildlife agency.
