Ah, the sweet sound of gun fire. Check out “The Shooting Star Band,” a group with a unique sound . . . the sound of Glocks shooting at metal targets. Skeptical? Take a listen, they sound pretty good.
The plates act like bells, and each individual plate was designed to make a specific sound when shot.
It’s hard to determine what’s more impressive here: the metal plates made into an instrument, or the shooting that the old guy can do. Say what you will, but being able to hit some of those small plates, and stay in rhythm with a band playing behind you, is pretty impressive.
I’m all in on a band that includes a little gun fire. I’ll bet they could make a killer Christmas album, too. I think a Glock rendition of “Deck the Halls” would be perfection.
