This Flying Deer Wants to be Like Mike

Talk about leaping ability, this deer has ups like Michael Jordan! In an effort to escape a group of hunters and their dogs, this deer says to hell with running and instead attempts to fly away.

You may have to watch a few times to fully appreciate the height this deer gets, but it’s pretty clear when his antlers start hitting the tree branches above.

You can hear dogs chasing the deer in the video, so it’s no surprise this deer was in a hurry to get away, but it looks as if he’s training to join old Kris Kringle and this year’s reindeer team. We’ve seen deer accomplish some pretty amazing feats, but this is downright impressive.

P.S. We aren’t sure of the location of this hunt, but the animal appears to be a red deer, a species found primarily in Europe.
