Neil Gorsuch Confirmed by Senate as Supreme Court Justice; A Potential Victory for Gun Rights

President Trump nominated Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat on the United States Supreme Court. He was confirmed by the Senate today on a vote of 54 to 45.

Gorsuch is known to be an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt, fish and ski.

In the tweet below, Judge Gorsuch and the late Justice Scalia pose for a picture while out fishing in Colorado. As mentioned before, Gorsuch is described as someone who can’t get enough of the outdoors. He’s apparently very fond of fly fishing, and is also a double black diamond skier.

It is noteworthy, however, that we have yet to see how Gorsuch rules on Second Amendment cases. He has never ruled on such a case, which will certainly be worth keeping an eye on.
