Fail Video: Guy Cutting Down Stubborn Tree Goes Horribly Wrong

You can probably see what’s coming in this video right from the start, but like a natural disaster, you just can’t stop watching as this tree comes crashing down.

In all fairness, this is one devilish tree that never seemed to cooperate even from the very beginning. The guy starts by cutting out a wedge of the tree on the side he wants it to fall on. All is going well, until the tree decides to be stubborn.

With a good chunk missing on one side, the guy starts pounding away with a sledge hammer and the tree starts to split up the middle of the trunk, but still stands firm.

At the 3:00 mark, you can see this man has had enough of this tree and decides to just go for it, but his knee jerk reaction and the result it produces isn’t pretty:
