Video: Herd of Elk Seen Swimming in the Pacific Ocean

When you think of elk territory, you probably imagine places such as Wyoming, Utah, or Montana. You might think of backpacking into God’s country, miles away from civilization. Very rarely will you see a herd of elk parading in the ocean waves like they are in this next video.
That’s right, even elk take vacations to the beach. In this clip, a herd of elk was seen in the ocean off the coast of Oregon at Gearhart Beach, where they have supposedly taken up residency. The elk have apparently grown quite fond of the ocean, as you’ll see in the video below.
Fortunately, no sharks were around, because it’s likely a shark would love to have an elk burger for lunch.
