Meanwhile in Sweden, this guy channels his inner viking and scares off a moose with an iron bar.

Moose are often disregarded as dangerous animals because they look slow and don’t have the best vision. But make no mistake, they are fast, powerful creatures, capable of reaching speeds up to 35-mph and can trample humans similar to how we squash ants.

In this video, a group of young adults encounters a female moose in the woods, and she’s a little grumpy:

Whew! That was a close call, and kudos to this guy for doing everything by the book, even with a huge moose charging at him. Take another look at the video and you’ll see what likely triggered this moose to charge in the first place.

The guy is doing everything right, standing frozen in his tracks trying not to upset the moose. It’s the sudden movements made by the young girl that cause the moose to charge, but luckily this guy was there and is as brave as they come.
