Watching this ax get built is really cool, and the end product is truly astonishing. However, an unfortunate accident occurs around the 10:40 mark when he’s finishing polishing the ax.
For a moment, he seems to lose focus on what he’s doing and starts polishing with no hands holding onto the heavy tool. Weighing 5 pounds, 15 oz., the ax falls off the table and strikes the man’s leg on the way down, leaving a gash all the way through to his tibia.
