Video: 10-Year-Old Texas Boy Reels in Catfish With Diamondback Snake Latched To Its Head

A 10-year-old boy in Texas was beaming after he reeled in what’s been dubbed the “ultimate country catch.”
My San Antonio reports, Chipper Burman, a 10-year-old Texan from Hockley, was fishing by himself in his family’s private pond, when he landed what seemed like an ordinary old catfish, but there was something latched onto it that made this catch far from the ordinary.
Attached to the catfish like a barnacle on a boat was a non-venomous diamondback water snake – now that’s doubling up!
Take a look at the video to get a glimpse of this bizarre catch. You’ll notice, both the fish and snake are still very much alive, and there’s quite a bit of wrestling going on when Chipper pokes at them with a stick:
