Slow Motion Video: Bald Eagle Provides Magical Moment for Boaters

While relaxing on the lake, you never can be too sure what you will encounter, but this boat was given a magical moment when a brave bald eagle came by to say hello.

These folks appear to be on the lake to soak up some sun, when a bald eagle with exceptional eyesight swoops in to snag a snack . . . right off the downrigger! It’s like poetry in motion.

It looks like this eagle encounter capped off a gorgeous day on the lake.

We aren’t sure what lake this was on, but we do know it’s somewhere in Vancouver, British Columbia. (Feeding bald eagles in America is illegal under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.)
