Alien Gear Holsters Apologizes for Unintentionally Criticizing Police

Words can get misconstrued and taken out of context in a hurry, and sometimes you have to own the mistake.

Alien Gear Holsters wrote a post on Facebook that was unintentionally critical of the officer-involved shooting of a man running from police in Atlantic City. The man, Antoquan Watson, was reportedly high on drugs when he exited his vehicle and opened fire on officers during a high-speed vehicle pursuit.

We added the dashcam video of the shooting for you to see.

The post, which has been deleted, seemingly questioned the amount of times officers shot Watson during the firefight, and the holster company ended up receiving a lot of grief from hundreds of angry customers.

Following this incident, Alien Gear Holsters released the following statement to sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding:
