Gone Fishing: This is How NFL Players Spend their Off Season

Football season is right around the corner, and while it’s almost time to strap on the shoulder pads again, some NFL players have caught our attention with how they spent their off season.

The off season is a time for NFL players to relax and unwind before they start another grueling season on the gridiron, and what better way to relax than to grab some fishing rods and hit the water? That’s exactly what these players had in mind, and they’re returning to their NFL locker rooms with some pretty awesome fishing stories to tell!

First, a group of players with quite a shark tale, check this out:

San Francisco 49er’s linebacker, Trent Brown, Indianapolis Colts linebacker, Antonio Morrison, and Oakland Raiders linebacker, Neiron Ball, caught a mako shark measuring more than 7 feet long and weighing over 300 pounds:

Next, Buffalo Bills linebacker Sam Barrington went fishing with BlacktipH, and he participated in a friendly competition between world-record powerlifters to see who could hoist amberjacks out of the water faster:
