Video: Michael Waddell and Taya Kyle Speak Out About Kneeling for the National Anthem

There’s a massive elephant in the room every Sunday now since NFL players started kneeling for the National Anthem, and it seems like everybody is talking about it.

The trend started last season, when players decided to take a knee during the National Anthem to raise awareness for people who are oppressed in America. Instantly, the controversial gesture gained national recognition, and the NFL became about so much more than just football.

Ironically, a peaceful protest that was about unity and eliminating division almost literally tore a nation in two, and caused more of what it was fighting against in the first place.

Suddenly, a gigantic wedge has been driven between those who stand and those who kneel, and it’s become a bigger mess than any baitcaster reel has ever seen.

Well, like we said, EVERYBODY is talking about this issue, including Michael Waddell, who went on a Facebook live rant all while right in the middle of an elk hunt to boot!

Waddell isn’t the only one who feels strongly about this matter; Taya Kyle wrote an open letter to the NFL, where she boldly challenges NFL players to make a change by rolling up their sleeves and going to work outside of their paying jobs:
