Video: Pro Golfer Films Cobra and Mongoose Battle it Out During Golf Tournament

Pro golfer Andrew Coltart posted video of a cobra fighting for its life against a mongoose during a tournament in South Africa for the European Tour.

The video was posted to the golfer’s Instagram, and it shows the snake and mongoose battling it out right in the middle of the Gary Player Country Club located in Sun City.

The mongoose circles the cobra for several minutes, but the snake’s defense is too strong. We don’t get to see the end of this dual, but we can’t imagine the two suddenly worked it out later in the bushes. . .

This particular golf tournament is relatively known for its bizarre wildlife encounters, so you better hit the ball straight! You don’t want to get too far off the beaten path looking for a golf ball around these parts!
