Video: When You Find a Watersnake Under the Ice, You Might Want to Consider Ice Fishing Elsewhere

Not very often will you go ice fishing, and look down to see a watersnake looking back up at you . . . it probably warrants finding a new spot to ice fish, though!
This video is believed to be taken in west Tennessee, and it’s been gaining a lot of attention online:
A lot of folk’s initial reaction was to break the ice so the snake could breathe, however, many snakes can survive extended periods of time underwater, especially during brumation.
In all likelihood, this snake will be just fine, and it’s probably warmer for the snake under the ice than it is for the guy standing on top of it anyways!
