Mossberg did something pretty cool with their 590 pump-action shotguns, and we got a chance to spend some trigger time with them on the range at SHOT Show 2018.
As announced in the press release below, Mossberg took a shot in mag-fed shotgun market, and people were really eager to get their hands on them at Range Day. What makes this stand out in particular is that Mossberg really went the extra mile to manufacture a “double stack” magazine for their hottest firearm.
The double stack magazine does exactly what you’re imagining; it allows you to cram more rounds in the mag without it becoming an eyesore.
