Have You Ever Found a Weird Shed Antler Like This?

You know the phrase “two for the money.” Well, this weird shed antler plays to that saying perfectly.

A photo posted on The Quality Deer Management Association Facebook page shows what appears to be an ordinary set of antlers recently found in Kansas, but take a closer look . . .

“The right and left antlers are actually sharing a single pedicle, and were shed together as one unit,” the post reads:

According to David Osborn, deer research coordinator at the UGA Deer Lab, he’s seen this once before, and said it was due to an injury between the antlers that caused the pedicles to fuse into one.

What’s the weirdest shed antler find you’ve ever come across? Post your photos in the comments section.
