A peaceful Safari in Tanzania turned frightening after a cheetah hopped in the truck for a lift.
Driving across the plains of Africa to observe some of the world’s most magnificent animals is an attraction for many people around the world. But, when one of the animals hops in the vehicle with you, it might be time to call it a day. . .
We wish the camera would have started filming just a few minutes sooner, but here’s footage of the close encounter, which has since gone viral:
The tourist filming, according to Express, was Britton Hayes from Seattle, Washington, and he described what exactly happened that day:
“We started to notice the cheetahs became curious of the vehicle.”
“But it was too late to drive quickly away or anything like that because you don’t want to startle the animals, because that’s when things usually go wrong.”
