This Video is ‘NSFW’: Not Safe For Watermelons
You hear about the power of a crocodile’s jaws all the time, but here’s a visual representation to give you a better idea. . .
This video shows a monster saltwater crocodile crush an entire watermelon in one powerful chomp. According to WPVI the video was taken at the Australian Reptile Park in Somersby, New South Wales.
The reptile’s name is Elvis, he’s 52-years-old and known as “Australia’s crankiest crocodile” after he tried taking a bite out of a lawnmower back in 2011.
Well, Elvis made the news again recently, and this time he really got to show off his power:
Saltwater crocodiles are the largest species of all living reptiles. Males have the potential to reach sizes up to 23 feet in length, which at first glance, Elvis doesn’t seem very far from!
Reptiles aren’t the only thing crawling around the Australian Reptile Park though. They just posted a video to their Facebook page over the weekend showing their first koala joey of the year, Gizmo!
