Video: .50 BMG Delivers Healthy Dose of Recoil, Sends Woman Flying Out of Her Seat

This lady is about to become famous on the gun range for all the wrong reasons. Just remember recoil always wins. Always.
The video was posted to Facebook by Desert Guns, and it shows a woman shooting what appears to be a .50-Cal. BMG rifle.
The very first thing we noticed was her unusual shooting position sitting on the bench. She’s apparently trying to brace against the powerful recoil that’s about to be delivered to her right shoulder, but her method isn’t the best way to do that.
She fires the rifle, and the recoil knocks her backwards clean off the bench.

Admittedly, we got a pretty good laugh out of it, but this video demonstrates the importance of safety on the gun range. You should only shoot firearms that you’re comfortable with handling, because a mistake like this could have inadvertently injured another range goer.
