Video: Territorial Geese Escort Alligator Off PGA National Golf Course

Here’s a new one, a flock of territorial geese were caught on camera escorting an alligator off a Florida golf course.

The video was captured by Ryan Witkowski of Jupiter, Florida while he was playing in a charity golf event at PGA National golf course in Palm Beach Gardens earlier this month, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Witkowski posted the video to his Facebook page, and it took off from there.

If you listen closely, you can hear a man say the geese on this golf course are “super aggressive,” and they’ve even seen the birds sitting on top of gators before. 

The video shows eight bullish geese chasing off a small-ish gator while other golfers halt their game to watch it all go down from the safety of their golf carts.
