We Don’t Advise It, But Here’s How You Befriend An Alligator

A man taking a dip in a lake near Fruitville, Florida was confronted by an approaching alligator, but being a ‘Florida man,’ he knew exactly what to do.

This video certainly doesn’t project good decision making, which begs the question: is this some kind of strange rite of passage to live in Florida? Maybe it’s  something in their water. . .

Or is this Florida man the true gator whisperer?

Whatever it may be, our best guess is that gator had no idea what kind of friendship it was swimming into. Although, we highly doubt that guy would be in such a hugging mood if it were a bigger gator joining him in the water.
