Video: Women Stranded on Inflatable Rainbow Unicorn Rescued from Minnesota Lake

Police authorities in Minnesota assisted in the summer’s oddest rescue when a group of women became stranded on a lake while floating on a giant inflatable rainbow unicorn.

The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office on Twitter said officers noticed the women while driving along Fish Lake, near Stark, Minnesota. The first thing to catch the officer’s eyes was a large rainbow unicorn floating in a precarious spot on the lake, and then they realized the women were tangled and caught-up in the lake’s thick lily pads, Fox9 reports.

While one deputy filmed, the other showed off some nifty rope skills, and pulled the stranded women back to shore.

“With a handful of laughs and some mad rescue roping skills they were pulled back to the dock!” the sheriff’s office wrote in a tweet.
