Video: Turkey Decoy Attracts Rare Visitor

Turkey decoys are used for several reasons; to attract birds from a distance, and to give the birds something to look at when turkeys hone in on your calls. But one thing they don’t tell you about turkey decoys, is they may also attract another bird of prey.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve witnessed at a turkey decoy? It’s not all that uncommon to see a coyote visit a lonely decoy in the middle of a field to scope out the situation, but what this turkey hunter got on film is quite a bit more rare..

Sure, it’s no triple-bearded gobbler, but I’d venture to say this is way cooler!
