Video: Florida Woman Cited After Whipping Gator Out of Her Pants During Traffic Stop

A Florida woman shocked authorities Monday, after whipping a juvenile alligator out of her pants during a traffic stop. And that’s not even all she had in the car!

There’s just no such thing as a routine traffic stop in Florida..

According to ABC News, officials from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were called to the scene in Punta Gorda after an unidentified woman was found with a heap of reptiles, including a baby alligator hidden away in her yoga pants!

An officer reportedly asked, “Do you have anything else?” at which point the woman revealed 42 striped mud turtles and one softshell turtle stashed away in her vehicle, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office states.

She was cited for illegal possession and bag limit violations for all three species, all of which are native to the state of Florida, but are regulated. The critters were seized by proper authorities and released back into their natural habitats, a spokesperson for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said.

This could only happen in Florida!
