YETI Wicker Park: YETI Opens Third Flagship Store in Chicago, Illinois

After months of anticipation, YETI Wicker Park opened its doors in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois.
You can visit the 4,900-square-foot retail store at 1572 North Milwaukee Ave. across from the Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line stop at Damen Station. This Wicker Park location is the Texas-based outdoor gear brand’s third U.S. flagship store, after YETI Charleston opened in June 2019.
YETI Wicker Park Grand Opening
In celebration of its grand opening, YETI arranged a full weekend of activities at it’s sparkling new store, including free cooler customizations, film screenings, Dark Matter coffee, Big Star breakfast tacos, and live performances Saturday and Sunday evening from both Chicago & Texas-based artists. Emmy Star Brown, Sir the Baptist and Quaker City Night Hawks took the stage Saturday, followed by Austin duo, Peterson Brothers on Sunday.
“With its strong active outdoor community, combined with passion for food and music, Chicago is the ideal location for our latest store,” said Matt Reintjes, President & CEO of YETI. “We’re thrilled to expand into this great city and are eager to show Chicagoans all that YETI has to offer.”
The store features YETI’s wide selection of products – including its hard and soft coolers, drinkware, bags, and outdoor living products like base camp chairs, dog products, buckets and more.
Congruent with YETI’s Austin location, the new Windy City store features its own bar and stage to host live entertainment, and provide a fitting atmosphere while customers shop.
Now Open
“We opened our doors in Autumn 2019 in the neighborhood of Wicker Park. We’re here to help bring an outdoor experience into the city landscape and inspire adventures in the wild. Come by to find a basecamp of sorts. Grab a coffee in the morning and come back later for a beverage from the bar, and get a fill-up for your re-usable water bottle any time in between. Take a load off and enjoy YETI Presents films playing on loop, or special events with guests and live music on our stage. And of course, shop our gear, including an assortment of products you can’t get anywhere else.
