Traeger On: Schooling Your Little Grillmasters
OutdoorHub Editor: Keenan Crow 04.07.20
During these uncertain times, offices across the United States are shut down and sending their employees to work from home. Schools are closed pushing kids into homeschooling and parents into a teacher’s role; all in an effort to “flatten the curve” and help stop the spread of the coronavirus. With families being confined to their homes, the need to keep everyone busy while you work, cook, clean the house, etc. is imperative and Traeger Grills is here to help in providing a useful, and entertaining resource for everyone – including the aspiring grillmaster in your home.
Starting this week through Sunday, April 12, Traeger Grills is launching their “Cook with the Home Team” initiative geared towards parents and their kids. Traeger will be providing interactive at-home activities for the little grillmaster(s) in your home, including exclusive content, fun challenges and more.
First up, the “ABCs of Traeger” and the “Traeger Activity Book” which is packed full of fun, time consuming activities:

To kick things off, school is now back in session!
Running out of ways to keep the kids entertained? It can be challenging having the whole family at home, but Traeger has just the thing. Grab the kids and join us as we go through the ‘ABC’s of Traeger.’
And when you’re done with that, keep scrolling to download Traeger’s “Activity Book” complete with games, kid-friendly recipes that are fun to cook with the whole family, & more for your ‘Home Team.’

While your little grillmaster may not be ready to fire up the Traeger just yet, you can grab some crayons and have them join Traeger Nation through interactive activities that will stimulate their need to learn. The little cookbook offers mazes, crosswords, and cut-outs that will have them putting together their first recipe.
As part of the larger “Traeger On” initiative that helps illuminate the company’s mission and provides an ideal resource for people confined to their homes during the “Shelter-In-Place” mandate, Traeger will be rolling out themed social media programs on a weekly basis to support and provide compelling content to consumers. Each week, consumers can win prizes by posting their participation, tagging @TraegerGrills and using the #TraegerOn hashtag. Ten winners will be announced and prize packages include Traeger pellets, rubs, and Snake River Farms Steaks.
