NFL DE Trent Murphy Poses with 10-Point Buck on Turf at Bills Stadium After Clinching AFC East Championship

With the teams most recent win over the Denver Broncos, the Buffalo Bills have solidified themselves as AFC East champions for the first time since 1995. Which marks the end of a dominant 25-year run by the New England Patriots, and also calls for some serious celebrating for all those enthusiastic Bills fans in western New York – something those ‘Bills Mafia’ folks are NOT shy about!
In the midst of all the hoopla going on in western New York these days, though, one Buffalo Bills player takes the cake with an endzone celebration we can actually get behind.
Bills’ starting defensive end, Trent Murphy, celebrated clinching the AFC East title by bringing a stud 10-point buck he had shot earlier that day down to Orchard Park (where Bills Stadium is located) and snapping some photos with an epic background.

“Anyone know the last time an AFC East Champ or a Ten-point buck were in this Endzone? Me either,” Murphy said in his post. “Merry Christmas yuh filthy animals.”
The post gained plenty of attention from Murphy’s teammates, as well as other players around the league who also hunt.
“This belongs in the HoF,” Bills’ FB Reggie Gilliam commented.
“Legendary pic” the team’s offensive tackle, Trey Adams added.
Even Cameron Hanes took notice of the buck and shared his excitement, writing “Yes!!!!” on Murphy’s IG post.
There’s also a bit of (stretched) irony baked into this photo. See, the last time an AFC East champion was in that endzone was likely Tom Brady when he played for New England. The Bills have now officially taken the reigns of the AFC East from Brady, though, who now coincidentally plays for the Tampa Bay Bucs.
See what Murphy did there?
