Norma Introduces New TAC-22 Subsonic 40-grain Rimfire Ammo
Norma’s new Tac-22 Subsonic ammunition will make use of a standard 40-gr Lead Round Nose bullet with a hollow point tip. The bullet has an advertised ballistic coefficient of 0.132 and advertised muzzle energy of 92 ft pounds when pushed up to a velocity of 1,017 fps. This makes it perfectly suited for applications where noise suppression is paramount, or you’re attempting to achieve better accuracy by avoiding transonic speeds and the resultant wake that disturbs the path of your bullet.
