[SHOT 2023] Next Generation of the CZ 712 G3 Shotgun

CZ USA has brought out the newest generation of their CZ 712 gas-operated semi-auto shotguns. The new CZ 712 G3 is a multipurpose shotgun line built to work well anywhere you need it, available in four different models. Tailored for use wherever you need them, be it your home, the field, or the clay target course. These new shotguns all come with two different gas pistons; a light-medium piston, and a heavy-magnum piston. This system replaces the previous one size fits all piston system of the previous generation of CZ 712s making the shotguns much more versatile when it comes to loading choice. When the light piston is installed the CZ 712 G3 will easily cycle, even when shooting soft recoiling shot shells for target shooting. All of the new CZ 712 G3 come with a chrome-lined barrel with a 3-inch choke made to withstand extended firing and ensure consistent shot patterns with five provided extra-long Active-Choke tubes. The barrels are available in three lengths; 20-inch, 26-inch, and 28-inch lengths. The CZ 712 G3’s receiver and barrel come with a stylish, sturdy matte black finish that reduces glare on three of the models, and can be matched with a synthetic black, wood, or camo stock. The CZ 712 G3 is also available in a full Synthetic Camo Terra camo print configuration as well.

The CZ 712 G3 controls have been changed to be more ergonomic, they come with an extended charging handle and enlarged bolt release great for grabbing in a rush or with gloved hands. The trigger group is the exact same as the trigger group from the CZ 1012 inertia shotgun, with the safety in front of the trigger for better left-handed compatibility. The shotguns will also ship out with stock shims so they can be comfortably fitted to the shooter.
